As he taunts radio DJ Dr Rock aka Joey Valentine (Lorry D'er Cole), Sheridan (Kate Raison) and Wheels (Marcus Graham) race to a dark and deserted shopping mall to stop the bloodshed but can they stop their growing feelings for each other? And will Eden Street's policemen George (Les Dayman) and Max (Bruce Samazan) shoot the right maniac?

Elsewhere, Patchetts Pub hosts the Mr E Street competition causing Ernie (Vic Rooney) to try and bribe Jo-Jo (Kelley Abbey), Alice (Marianne Howard) goes into labour, Toni (Toni Pearen) and CJ (Adrian Lee) move in together, Mary (Joan Sydney) gets mugged, Nikki (Melissa Tkautz) leaves and Max's cousin Jamie (Scott McRae) and fashion designer Penny (Josephine Mitchell) arrive in Westside.
