It tells the story of William, an aspiring actor, who meets and falls madly in love with Sara, a seductive singer-songwriter, just days before his 2Ist birthday. An almost comical beginning to their relationship leads the pair stumbling through meeting the parents. breathless from the romance in Mexico and finally churned out and dragged down to reality in Texas; the hottest slate of all.
William's journey forces him to confront his estranged father (Ethan Hawke) and accept what
can't be changed. Somewhere between days of incomparable despondency and vivid moments of blinding clarity, William and Sara soon discover the importance of being yourself and the fickle nature of love.
