Welcome to Worksop, best-kept village in Nottinghamshire, 1326, and home of the great Robin Hood. Legend has it that Robin was a hero who led a brave band of Merry Men, robbing the rich to give to the poor.

Legend Is Wrong.

After minutes of painstaking archaeological research, the whole sordid story has finally emerged. Maid Marian was the brains of the outfit, but Robin took all the credit. It was she who assembled and fought oppression with a bunch of prats known as the Merry Men – a dwarf called Little Ron, a Rastafarian, an ugly dolt by the name of Rabies and a yuppie called Robin of Kensington. Doing incredible brave things like piercing their ears and rescuing tadpoles, Marian and her men combat the cruelty of a mad, bad, king called John and his villainous Sheriff of Nottingham.

Tales of their exploits are told in this delightfully funny, award-winning series that will appeal to the young in heart and mind, though not necessarily in body.
