From the Everly Brothers to the Jacksons and AC/DC, sonic siblings The Veronicas are renowned for possessing a certain musical magic that eludes those who don't share a surname. But with the supernova success of their debut album, The Secret Life of The Veronicas - now four times platinum and still climbing - home grown twins Jess and Lisa Origliasso (aka The Veronicas) have been setting new highs for family acts.
The Veronicas bandwagon keeps on rolling with the release of Exposed...The Secret Life Of The Veronicas DVD.
This fly-on-the-wall rockumentary covers the girls' wild ride in images and music, including everything from their Brisbane upbringing - their father was a muso, which helped steer them in a rock and roll direction - to their early love of such musicals as Cats, Grease and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. As Lisa explains, 'Hey, you have to start somewhere,' to which Jess adds, 'It's cool to see where we started. Music has always been our passion.'
There's also hand-held footage of early shopping centre performances with their brother Julian, and candid stories about skipping school to write songs, right on through to their much heralded signing to Warners and recent sell-out tours and hit album. The pandemonium of their fanatical following is brought home this incredible collection.
