At a party celebrating the graduating class of Harvard High School, we meet Jonah Brand - one of the few students allowed to attend Harvard on scholarship. Jonah has always been somewhat of an outsider unable to compete with such wealth and privilege. However, on the last day of school, by lucky coincidence, Jonah manages to catch the eye of the beautiful and popular Sara Weller. She is part of a very tight, hard partying circle of friends that include the elitist yet raunchy Lucas Mitchell, consummate playgirl Erin Sutherland and Sara's rich boyfriend Troy Daniels.
When the group learns that Jonah works at a pharmacy, they become interested. Jonah's adulation for Sara and desperate attempt to gain acceptance into the group lead him down a path of lies and deceit, desolating his judgment and ripping open the lives of all those in his course of destruction.
