A hard-hitting prison thriller about two men forced to live with the violence and degradation of Death Rowe- one a cold-blooded killer and the other a prison guard - and the inspiring bond of friendship that develops between them as they fight against the system to keep their humanity.
Making his directorial debut is actor Kiefer Sutherland. He also stars as Denver Bayliss, the Death Row inmate on the way to execution. A popular young actor, Sutherland has appeared in many hit films including The Lost Boys, Flatliners, Young Guns I & II, A Few Good Men and most recently in The Vanishing.
Acclaimed actor Forest Whitaker co-stars as the haunted prison guard Fred Whitmore, who eventually befriends the doomed inmate. He has appeared in many films such as The Color Of Money, Platoon, Good Morning Vietnam, A Rage In Harlem, and ArticlE 99.
