Jack Hart (Eric Roberts) finally has his life in order. He has a new job as a police crime scene photographer and the love of a wonderful woman, Isabel (Eliza Garrett). If he could only get her to stop pressuring him into marriage, life would be perfect.

When Jack finds the photo of Jean (Kelly Preston), a beautiful model, in his locker, he's dazzled by her beauty. When he meets her, he believes he's found the woman of his dreams.

Then Jack's world begins to close in on him with frightening nightmares. When he's pulled into a web of passion and deception, Isabel throws him out. Then Jack realises Jean has been lying to him from the day they met. When she's found murdered, Jack's life comes to a halt. He's the only suspect. With his gun to his head Jack decides to end the nightmare.
