"Hell has finally frozen over!"
In one of the coldest and most desolate outreaches in the world, something strange is happening. Members of a government research team are dying under mysterious circumstances. When all contact is lost with this remote Antarctic base, Major Callie Wilson (Chase Masterson) and Captain Sam Cage (Clayton Rohner) are sent to investigate.
Known as Ice Station Erebus, the center for environmental research is in fact being used as a front for illegal mining operations. Two members of the outpost are dead and another two missing: technical officer Shebanski (Max Perlich) and an engineer Reynolds (Michael Steadvic). Dr. Kurt Schilling (Damien Chapa), the head of operations, is suspected as the killer.
Securing the main living quarters as a precaution, they decide to seal the mine level by level the next day. That night the besieged group is awakened by bone-chilling noises but no human could survive the sub-zero temperature outside. With tensions rising, they sense they are being stalked by a malevolent presence.
