Speed Dating is the story of James Van Der Bexton as he approaches his 30th birthday. Following the break-up with the love of his life, he takes up speed dating with little success. Now he turns his attention to a mysterious young woman who hangs out at his local pub. In trying to discover more about her, he plays at being a private detective but this only leads to him being hospitalised suffering amnesia.
Meanwhile, the woman disappears causing the police to become suspicious about his involvement. His amnesia allows him to finally mend his broken heart and he sets out to clear his name, solve a crime and discover who the hell James Van Der Bexton is.
