Driven to expose the true cause of his mother's death, Hallam Foe, spies on people. Alone and penniless after fleeing the family nest, Hallam crashes down into reality on the unforgiving streets of Edinburgh. By day he makes friends amongst the social outcasts and by night the city is a realm of glimmering allure when Hallam does what he loves best - clamoring over roofs spying on people in all their hilarious strangeness.
