Jacko Argyle (Burn Gorman) was sent to the gallows protesting his innocence, having been convicted of murdering his adoptive mother Rachel (Jane Seymour). His family have tried to reinvent themselves after the tragedy but wounds are reopened when two years later Dr Arthur Calgary (Julian Rhind-Tutt) proves that Jacko was actually with him at the time of the murder, thereby proving his innocence. The Argyle family, who reside on an isolated island, suffer as they realise one of the occupants of their family home could be the real culprit.
