When Fritz (Falk) learns that his daughter, Liz (Young) is getting married in Las Vegas at week's end to Laurent, (Diamantopolous), he gathers his cronies Wallace (Torn), Dominic (Segal), and Marvin (Cobbs) and their friend Billy (Burke) for a road trip from Ft. Lauderdal to keep her from making a huge mistake.

Of course, with all there is to see between Southern Florida and Vegas, Billy makes sure the guys make their fair share of stops. In South Beach, they get to know their limo bus driver Antoine (Negron), and find that he likes to have a good time.

When Antoine's good times prove to be too much for the gentlemen, they leave him to his own Thelma & Louise journey to Mississippi with his new friend Chris (Cantone).

Without a suitable driver for the limo bus, Fritz and his group spend the night in New Orleans with Marvin's nephew, the famous rap star, The Flow (Coolio). He helps them reach Vegas before the wedding, but not in time to get it called off. With their arrival, the wedding doesn't exactly go as planned for Laurent and Liz, or for anyone else.
