Alan Davies (Jonathan Creek, Bob & Rose) stars as criminal lawyer Henry Farmer, a crusading barrister who is honourably engaged in the fight for truth and justice in the British legal system. Possessing a tremendous gift for cross-examination and a silver tongue in vital closing speeches, Henry is a formidable opponent and greatly admired by his colleagues. A gambler in every sense of the word, Henry's daily life is perhaps paradoxically, dominated by chaos. A huge workload, debt and alimony are compounded by his love for the wife of a prominent politician.
