Hanna has not taken a break from her job in four years. When the factory where she works demands she take a month's leave, she is at a loose end. When an opportunity arises to nurse a burns victim on an oil rig she takes up her old calling, but as she tends the blinded Josef, Hanna keeps her personal details guarded. As time on the isolated rig passes, she finds herself drawn to the motley crew, and her patient in particular. But what terrible secret does she harbour?
