An idyllic town is rocked when Aubrey Fleming (Lindsay Lohan), a bright and promising young college student is abducted and tortured by a sadistic serial killer. When she manages to escapes the clutches of the madman, she does so with deep-seated psychological scars, plus the loss of a hand, a leg, and untold amounts of blood. However, the traumatised girl who regains consciousness in the hospital insists that her identity is Dakota Fleming, a stripper in a seedy club and that the real Aubrey Fleming is still in mortal danger. A taut and gripping erotic thriller with a captivating riddle as its centre, I Know Who Killed Me explores the dark side of identity, sexuality and obsession.
