2007, 92 minutes, Rated MA

Bob Maconel (Christian Slater), is having a bad day. Mentally unstable, toiling away in a lonely cubicle, constantly disrespected by his superiors, he dreams of murdering his co-workers. Beaten to the punch by a fellow office nut, Bob kills him in defense and becomes a hero. Promoted by his boss (William H. Macy) to suspicious vocational heights, Bob must deal with Vanessa (Elisha Cuthbert), his workplace fancy, now suicidal and paralyzed by the shooting.

From potential killer to inadvertent hero, Bob saves Vanessa only to have her ask him to kill her. In a tour-de-force performance by Christian Slater in what many critics claim is his greatest role ever, He Was A Quiet Man is totally unpredictable and entirely original in its depiction of a modern man driven to the edge in today's complex, high-pressured society.
