When struggling actor Max (John Cassini - SeVen) wishes one of his audition rivals would 'break a leg', he really means it! Frustrated by a long stretch of failure to make it in the film business, Max takes matters into his own hands by crippling his competition the old-fashioned way! A talented actor, Max suddenly has roles, critical acclaim and a beautiful actress girlfriend (Molly Parker - Deadwood) but he also has to find new ways to stay on top of his rivals. When two tough LA detectives are called in to investigate a string of violent incidents involving professional actors, Max has to prepare for his biggest role, 'a real-life drama with fatal consequences. This snappy showbiz satire also stars Rene Rivera (Basquiat), with cameos by Eric Roberts (Heroes), Jennifer Beals (Flashdance) and Sandra Oh (Sideways, Grey's Anatomy).
