After witnessing the death of her parents in a violent tornado, April (Mimi Rogers) grows up to become a storm chaser. When she visits Seattle to bury the hatchet with her estranged brother, she is astonished to see an unusual storm system brewing over the Pacific Northwest, a place that hasn't had a tornado touch down in over a century. In a race against time and the elements, she must battle the demons of her past, as well as her failed relationships of the present, in an
attempt to save not only the people she loves the most, put all the unsuspecting citizens in the path of this devastating storm cell.
