"What to expect. When you're not Expecting!"

In this ironic, twisting tale of family planning gone wrong, the pursuit of the perfect nuclear family turns into a battle of wills for two couples and an unborn baby they cannot share.

Diane and Stellan are successful, happily married couple in their thirties. They've given their careers the best years of their lives, but now find themselves unable to conceive a child.

Cathy is young and fertile. She offers a no strings attached, 'Under-the-table' method of surrogate motherhood. With all the conventional approaches exhausted and nowhere else to turn, Stellan and Diane throw caution to the wind and accept her generous, if illicit, offer and soon she is pregnant with Stellan's child.

When Stellan's overbearing boss, Bob, meets Cathy and they fall deeply in love, a whirlwind of complications ensues, not the least of which is Bob's new-found passion to start a family - with Cathy's (and Stellan's) baby.

When Diane gets the shocking news that she too is carrying a child, One of Our Own boils over, scalding the two couples and leaving us with the difficult question: "Does making a baby make you a parent?"
