While Euphemia and her entourage attend a welcoming ceremony during the arrival of a Britannian aristocrat, the Black Knights stage a surprise attack. With the Lancelot surrounded by enemy forces, Suzaku receives an order from the arriving aristocrat to maintain position in an effort to trap Zero in a fiery barrage, at the risk of losing his own life. Will Suzaku sacrifice himself despite Euphemia’s objections?

I Order You, Suzaku Kururugi
Due to the major growth of the Order of the Black Knights, Zero establishes an organizational hierarchy. Meanwhile, Princess Euphemia officially knights Suzaku in a ceremony and back at the academy they throw a party for him. However there's one thing on Kallen's mind and that's to assassinate the pilot of the Lancelot pilot. In the end Zero launches a plan to capture Suzaku and his knightmare frame, at a Britannia military base on Shikinejima Island.

Island of the Gods
After being hit by the Avalon's cannons, Zero, Kallen, Suzaku, and Euphie, all wake up to find themselves mysteriously transported to a nearby island. Kallen reveals her identity to Suzaku, and the two spend a uneasy evening together. Meanwhile, on the other side of the island, Zero and Euphie meet and she learns of Zero's true identity. With the return of the Britannian military, Zero and Kallen get away by stealing the prototype knightmare frame, Gawain.

Battle for Kyushu
The Britannia army fights back against the Kyûshû invaders with Lancelot. The Order of Black Knights try to decide whether to help, but Zero has other plans and instead it's time for them to fight to make a new country. Meanwhile, Nina forcefully meets Princess Euphemia where she ends up helping Euphie confirm about her feelings for Suzaku. In the midst of the battle Suzaku is caught in a tough situation with no way out but with Euphie's encouragement and Zero's and C.C. help, they are able to end the campaign.

The School Festival Declaration
It's a day of fun and games, as Ashford Academy holds their annual festival. Ougi and Villetta join in and feelings spark between the uncanny couple. Meanwhile, Suzaku and Kallen come to an agreement, and Shirley tries to talk to Lelouch about the letter she discovered. But Lelouch is busy with other matters as him, Euphie, and Nunnally reunite and talk of the past but Euphie's cover is eventually blown. She then proceeds to declare that she will set up a Special Administrative Region where the Elevens will be able to become Japanese again. Euphie makes this bold move to the chagrin of both Cornelia and Lelouch. They know the plan is not only naïve, but poison for the Black Knights.
