AFL - Bombers - History of EFCIcon_movClass_G

2002, 90 minutes, Rated G

From the immortal King Richard, Dick Reynolds in the thirties through to Kevin Sheedy in the nineties, this is a visual history of the mighty Essendon Football Club.

From the majestic John Coleman through to the cool and efficient James Hird. We ride the bumps with Bluey Shelton in the sixties, Tuddy in the seventies and Ronnie Andrews in the eighties. We join skippers Jack Clarke, Ken Fraser, Barry Davis and Simon Madden.

The coaches have their say. Reynolds on his four flags and the near misses, Coleman, Birt, Clarke, Tuddenham and Sheedy. Never before have so many big names been assembled to talk about this proud club.

Bombers is a story of premierships, of champions, of great players and memorable games. It is the story of the Essendon Football Club over the last sixty years.
