Lucy McLoughlin lives a charmedlife - rich upbringing, private schools, and soccer captain boyfriend. Lucy lives to dance and dances to win.

Danny Mitchell lives not far from Lucy, yet a world apart. Danny plays soccer for a working-class school and to advance his game, he enrols in a dance studio to improve his rhythm. But there he meets Lucy and sets his sights on a new goal.

When Lucy and Danny unexpectedly become partners, Lucy insists that Danny keep pace with her. Yet with all the unexpected (and often unorthodox) help Danny gets towards his goal, - from family, friends and faculty, - Lucy just might be the one to learn some new steps in life.
