A tale of western justice made simultaneously with 'The shooting' this film was written and co-produced by Jack Nicholson who stars along side Millie Perkins and Cameron Mitchell. It tells the story of a group of cowboys who are mistaken for outlaws and hunted by a band of vigilantes until two are dead and the third becomes a killer in self-defense. Great direction by Monte Hellman and a superb performance by Cameron Mitchell have given this western cult classic status.
