Final Equinox

In the not so distant future a mysterious alien artefact is stolen from a heavily guarded government compound known as Project Equinox. It soon becomes apparent that this is the work of Mafia King Pin, Torman (Martin Kove) who seeks to control the future of mankind. This artefact is actually a regenerator that has the power to replace every living thing on earth with new vegetation. Unfortunately, existing life forms will not survive the final transformation.
The CIA devise a plan to get the artefact back involving a multi million dollar swap with Torman which goes horribly wrong when Torman realises the money has been marked. Tough cop Lugar (Joe Lara) the man responsible for busting the Mafia Chief once before is hired to help bring Torman down for good. A fight against time and each other ensues. But it may be too late for themselves and mankind when Shilow (David Warner) a former scientist on Project Equinox steals the artefact.
