"A story of the love between a woman, a man and the river that binds them together. "

Adapted from Nancy Cato's best-selling novel, All The Rivers Run is a majestic romance set against the breathtaking splendour of the Murray River during Australia's turbulent, pioneering 1890s.

In one of her major career-defining roles Sigrid Thornton plays Delie Gordon, the feisty artist who dares to challenge the preconceptions of a woman's place in colonial society. John Waters is Brenton Edwards, the two-fisted boat captian who shares her passion for the wild river and ultimately wins her heart.

A multi-award winning family drama, All the Rivers Run remains among the most spectacular international success stories of Australian television history, screening in 55 countries to unprecedented popular acclaim.

Presented for the first time on DVD, the lavish, four-and-a-half-hour saga has been digitally enhanced from its orginal format, bringing new gradeur to the series' stunning natural locations and the meticulously reconstructed period sets of Pre-Federation Australia.

This specially remastered package features stereo sound and exclusive interviews with Sigrid Thornton and John Waters conducted in 2001. Bonuses on DVD only include rarely seen on-set interview footage and previously unseen outtakes from the Crawford Productions archives.
