Godferoy, a noble knight of France in 1123 must travel back in time to save the life of his soon to be father-in-law. Godefroy seeks the help of an old sorcerer, but the senile old wizard miscalculates and instead of sending his master back in time for a few hours, he hurls Sir Godefroy and his vassal Jacquasse into the 20th Century. Godefroy must seek the help of his descendants to return home and to survive in the future. This is back to the future with style and taste mixed in with wit and intelligence. The Visitors leaves all of its genre contemporaries severely lacking in the richness of its comedy and story.
