When Dr. Joe Darrow's wife dies tragically on a mission of mercy in the jungles of South America, Joe buries himself in his work at the hospital. But soon mysterious events - moving objects, communication from her former patients who survive near-death experiences, and odd voices - make him believe his wife is trying to contact him from the beyond.
