1st story: The Granton Star Cause
The first story is a black comedy that combines revenge, football, and religion. After a disastrous 24 hours where Boab is sacked from his soccer team, tossed from his folks home and dumped by his girlfriend, he meets God in a pub. The Almighty One transforms Boab into a fly as retribution for wasting the talents he had bestowed upon him. In his new winged body Boab is now able to avenge his foes.

2nd Story: A Soft Touch
In the second story, Johnny must make a decision when he marries the very pregnant Catriona, but as soon as the baby is born she starts shagging their psychopathic neighbour Larry.

3rd Story: The Acid House
Finally we have the speed crazed Coco Bryce, who has a fondness for mind-altering substances. In a wild leap of narrative logic, an acid-tripping Coco somehow exchanges personalities with the newborn baby of a middle-class couple; the infant wrecks havoc as it instantly starts speaking to its mother in adult English.
