Demond, a young African-American is accused of murdering a woman found in a deserted office building . . . his fingerprints all over the crime scene. His father, Doyle (Emmy Award Winner, CHARLES S. DUTTON), frustrated at his inability to convince the jury of his son's innocence reacts violently and overpowers the security guard and takes the jury hostage. He demands that prosecutor uncovers the truth behind the murder, within 24 hours . . . or people will die.

As the deadline draws closer, the prosecutor must turn defence attorney, and attempt to unravel the web of intrigue and confilcitng evidence... while a fathers' reckless action and the efforts of a militant SWAT team, threaten the lives of the innocent jury members.
