Under the leadership of the tribal elders, Nicholas slowly learns the ways of the Shoshone, but it is not until he fulfills the prophecy that he is finally looked upon as a brave warrior
But when a gang of settlers comes looking for him, Nicholas faces the toughest decision of his life. Trapped between two worlds, Nicholas must decide whether to return to his real family, or stay with the Indian family he has grown to love.
