In his never-ending quest to subvert Hollywood, young lunatic filmmaker Cecil B. Demented (Stephen Dorff) and his gang of film fanatics the 'Sprocket Holes' kidnap A-list Hollywood movie goddess Honey Whitlock (Melanie Griffith) at the premiere of her latest film.
Honey is given an alarming fashion makeover and forced to star in Demented's latest underground terrorist movie. Refusing to cooperate at first, she gradually begins to fit in with her kamikaze co-stars as she is brainwashed into his world of real life cinema terror, sexual frustration and drug-riddled film theories. Honey eventually becomes a willing soldier in the war against bad cinema.
