Continuing his bleak, unflinching foray into the darker reaches of American suburbia, director Todd Solondz (Welcome to the Dollhouse, Happiness) has created a daring, chilling film in two parts - 'Fiction' and 'Non-Fiction' - starring Selma Blair (Legally Blonde), Paul Gia,matti (Saving Private Ryan), Julie Hagerty (Flying High), Franka Potente (Run, Lola, Run) and John Goodman (O Brother, Where Art Thou?).
These two acidic, tragi-comic explorations of sex, fame, exploitation and alienation form a powerful whole, where everyday life is put under the microscope, social taboos are laid bare and human frailties are fully exposed.
Storytelling was chosen for 'Official Selection' at the Sundance Film Festival, The New York Film Festival and Cannes International Film Festival.
