Sugar Town is a dramatic comedy set in the sweetly seductive - and treacherous - rock 'n' roll world of Los Angeles. We meet a diverse array of characters whose lives are all interweaved - a young singer who will stop at nothing to realise her ambitions, a band of ageing rock stars determined to recapture their erstwhile fame, a single female looking for a new-age romance, a married musician who falls prey to a Latina singer, and an actress whose rocker husband has an unexpected brush with paternity - all in their various ways, are chasing success, money, sex and sometimes love.
The road to fame is rarely paved with good intentions; ruthlessly ambitious Gwen will do anything to ensure her stardom will suffice. And for the boys in the band who are no longer boys, the same rules apply. What wouldn't they do to regain their status as the IT band of the moment?
