1979, 101 minutes, Rated PG

Kramer Vs. Kramer is a story of contemporary relationships, values and choices. Career-driven and ambitious, Ted Kramer (Dustin Hoffman from Tootsie) returns home from work late one night to be told by his wife, Joanna (Meryl Streep from Out Of Africa) that she is leaving him. After a lifetime of being "somebody's daughter or somebody's wife", she is now taking off to do some soul searching. Ted is now faced with juggling his full-time career and caring for their six year old son; cooking his meals, taking him to the park and understanding his needs and fears. For the first time in his life he feels like a fulfilled parent. But then Joanna returns, and she wants her son back.
