It is 1924 in Marseilles, France. Action superstar Jean-Claude Van Damme is Alain Lefevre, a head-strong boxer with plans to rescue his beautiful lady from her ruthless mobster lover. Having been declared the victor in a heavily wagered boxing match he was meant to lose, Lefevre is blamed for the death of two people and is hunted by both the Police and the mobster's henchmen.

Escaping into a completely new identity - a mercenary soldier in the Foreign Legion - he is launched into a brutal conflict in a strange and unfamiliar country. What unfolds is a searing story of survival, of passionate love and an explosive war.
